Assessment results

To ensure that the school is continuing to improve, the Leadership Team and Governors use assessment and tracking systems to monitor attainment and progress for each child.

Summative assessment is captured and compared with other schools nationally as follows:

• Foundation Stage Profile in Reception
• Phonics Screen in Year 1
• Reading, Writing and Mathematics [optional assessments] in Year 2
• Multiplication Check in Year 4
• Reading, Writing, Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar and Mathematics assessments in Year 6
